Happy Holidays!

The end of the year has come, the Holidays are here.

How do you feel about the Holidays?

I have felt throughout the years that at this time of the year, my emotions change and blend and change again like a chameleon's robes, just fitting in...

But this year is different.

For the first time, I haven't put our Christmas Tree up.

I just felt no need for it.

Though I have to say that I enjoy seeing other people's decorations and the joy it brings them! It's wonderful!

And memories of Christmas past run havoc this time of year!

I look back with amazement at all the good food my grandmother always cooked for Christmas!

My father had a huge wooden table made, just so it would fit the entire family during the Holidays.

I miss those that are now gone and I miss the food prepared with so much love!

The togetherness is what I miss.

The time we were all alive, the time we all got along, for there was no other way to be, than being with each other in the Holiday's joy.

And what I know now with certainty, is that, in the end, love is all that matters.
